Ingredients

  • 150 g butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 120 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 100 g grated carrot

    Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 75 g room temperature butter
  • 90 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 100 g plain cream cheese
    Whisk together the butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar. Finally, add the cream cheese and whisk until smooth.

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter and let it cool slightly. Mix together the eggs and sugar, then add the flour, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, and carrots, and finally stir in the melted butter.
  2. Pour the batter into a springform pan (20cm) lined with baking paper.
  3. Bake in the middle of the oven at 175 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
  4. Cool first on the counter and then in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  5. Transfer the cake to a plate, spread the cream cheese frosting on top, and sprinkle with a little cinnamon.
