Hello and welcome to my baking world!

My name is Hege, and for me, baking is much more than just a hobby. It’s my way of unwinding, being creative, and experimenting with new flavors, shapes, and textures. I have a special love for yeast-based baking there’s something truly satisfying about watching dough rise and transform into something light and perfect.

I’m also curious about recipes from different cultures and enjoy exploring new flavors and traditions through baking. Alongside this, I have a strong interest in filming and editing, and I like capturing both the process and the final result from the first knead to the finished bake.

When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll often find me out on long walks in the forest. That’s where I find both calm and inspiration and perhaps burn off a few of those baking calories as well.
