Ingredients

  • 10 dl stone-ground, finely sifted wheat flour
  • 5 dl stone-ground, finely milled whole grain flour
  • 1 packet dry yeast
  • 1 dl sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 5 dl water
  • 2 eggs
  • 115 g room temperature butter

Instructions

  1. Combine all the dry ingredients in a stand mixer.
  2. Add lukewarm water and eggs, and knead for 10 minutes.
  3. Then add the room temperature butter and knead for another 5 minutes.
  4. Let the dough rise for about 1 hour.
  5. Shape into 20 buns and place them closely together in a large baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  6. Let them proof for about 30 minutes.
  7. Bake on the second lowest rack at 225°C for about 15 minutes.
  8. Brush with room temperature or melted butter after removing them from the oven.
