- 5.5 dl all-purpose flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp sugar
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 100 g room temperature butter
- 1 egg
- 1.5 dl milk

- Combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt, reserving a bit of the flour. Crumble in the butter and add the milk and egg. Mix the dough together (or use your hands) but do not overwork the dough, as it can easily become tough and difficult to shape. If the dough is sticky, add the remaining flour.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and pat or roll it out into a round disc about 2 cm thick. Cut out circles using a drinking glass and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake on the middle rack at 225 ºC for about 12-15 minutes.
