Rolls with Crème Fraîche

Rolls with Crème Fraîche

These rolls with crème fraîche are juicy and soft. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or as a side for soups and salads.

Ingredients

  • 300 g water
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 packet dry yeast
  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 100 g whole wheat flour, finely ground
  • 140 g crème fraîche
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Place all the dry ingredients in a stand mixer. (Reserve some of the all-purpose flour and adjust the dough as needed).
  • Add lukewarm water, crème fraîche, and honey, and knead for 10 minutes.
  • Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hour.
  • Divide into 8 equal pieces and shape into rolls.
  • Cover and let them rise for 30 minutes.
  • Sprinkle a little flour on top and make a cut on the surface.
  • Bake in the middle of the oven at 225°C for about 17-18 minutes.

These rolls taste best fresh out of the oven – hope you enjoy them!
