Grandma's Apple Cake

• 3 eggs
• 200 g sugar
• 100 g melted butter
• 1.5 dl cream
• 200 g all-purpose flour
• 1.5 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 0.5 tsp vanilla sugar
• 0.5 tsp cardamom

1. Whisk the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Sift in all the dry ingredients.
3. Heat the butter and cream (let it cool slightly) and mix in.
4. Top with apples. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
5. Bake in a 22 cm round pan for about 50 minutes at 175°C.
