- 150 g wheat flour/cookie flour
- 100 g room temperature butter
- 2 tbsp water
Filling - 100 g room temperature butter
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 egg yolk (works without as well.)
- Whisked together to form a cream.

Instructions
- Mix together by hand. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Roll out to about 0.5 cm thickness and cut out small circles about 5 cm in diameter.
- Sprinkle sugar on the work surface and roll with a patterned rolling pin to form ovals. Turn them a couple of times while rolling them out.
- Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the middle of the oven at 225 degrees for about 7 minutes.
- Cool and fill them.
