Ingredients
- 580 g all-purpose flour
- 1 dl powdered sugar
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking ammonia
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 1 egg (lightly beaten)
- 75 g butter
- 3 dl milk

Instructions
- Mix all the dry ingredients. Do not add all the flour at once; adjust as needed.
- Melt the butter and add the milk. The mixture should be lukewarm (37 degrees).
- Add the egg and mix everything together. Knead in a stand mixer for 10 minutes.
- Let rise for 2 hours.
- Divide the dough into 12 pieces and shape into round buns. Cut a cross on top of each bun.
- Let rise again for 30 minutes.
- Take a small piece of butter and place it in the center of each bun. Sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
- Bake on the middle rack at 225 °C for about 10 minutes.
