Horn with Cheese and Ham

Horn with cheese and ham is a simple and flavorful baked good that is perfect for lunchboxes, lunch, outings, or as a snack. They are soft, juicy, and easy to make, and can be frozen so you always have something delicious on hand.
Ingredients
- 580 g all-purpose flour
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 80 g butter
- 4 dl milk
Filling - 100 g cooked ham
- 150 g grated cheese
Instructions
- Place all the dry ingredients in a stand mixer.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the milk. The mixture should be lukewarm.
- Pour it into the stand mixer and knead for 10 minutes.
- Cover and let the dough rise for one hour.
- Divide the dough in half and roll each half into a circle, then cut into six pieces. Place cheese and ham on the outer edges and roll up into horns. Place them on two baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
- Cover and let them proof for half an hour.
- Brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake at 225°C in the middle of the oven for about 12 minutes.
Let the horns cool slightly before serving. They taste best fresh out of the oven, but can also be frozen and reheated as needed. Serve them with a bit of butter or enjoy them as they are.
