- Preheat the oven to 175 °C. Line a springform pan (about 18 cm) with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter and let it cool slightly so it’s not too hot.
- Whisk together the egg, brown sugar, and regular sugar until well combined.
- Pour the melted butter into the mixture and stir until everything is even.
- Add the all-purpose flour and salt, and gently stir until you have a smooth dough.
- Fold in the chopped chocolate at the end.
- Pour the dough into the pan and smooth it out.
- Bake in the middle of the oven for about 17 minutes. The cake should be slightly soft in the center.
- Let the cake cool on the counter first, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
