Chocolate Mousse for 3

A silky smooth chocolate mousse is the perfect ending to a good meal, or just a little luxury in everyday life. With just a few ingredients and a simple method, you can create a light and rich dessert that melts in your mouth and delivers a deep chocolate flavor.

Ingredients

  • 100 g chocolate
  • 2 room temperature egg yolks
  • 2 dl heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate in a water bath. Let it cool slightly. If it's too hot, the egg yolks will coagulate.
  2. Stir in the egg yolks, one at a time.
  3. Whip the heavy cream until soft and fluffy.
  4. Fold the chocolate mixture into the cream and stir until all lumps disappear.
  5. Divide the chocolate mousse into 3 serving dishes/glasses and place them in the refrigerator for a couple of hours until the mousse has set.

Allow the mousse to set well in the refrigerator before serving, and feel free to garnish with fresh berries, some grated chocolate, or a dusting of cocoa. The result is an elegant and irresistible dessert that is sure to impress, whether you're making it for guests or just treating yourself to something special.
