Ingredients

  • 950 g all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 dl sugar
  • 1 packet dry yeast
  • 2 tsp cardamom
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 6 dl milk
  • 150 g room temperature butter

Instructions

  1. Place all the dry ingredients in a stand mixer.
  2. Add the lukewarm milk and knead for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the room temperature butter and knead for another 5 minutes.
  4. Cover and let the dough rise for one hour.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a floured countertop and add about 2 dl raisins. Mix them in well.
  6. Shape into buns and place them on two baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  7. Cover and let them rise for half an hour.
  8. Brush with egg and bake at 225°C, in the middle of the oven for 10-12 minutes.
