Brownies with Dulce de Leche

Moist brownies and creamy dulce de leche are a combination that's hard to resist. Here you get a rich and soft brownie with intense chocolate flavor, topped with sweet swirls of caramel that not only look beautiful but also add extra flavor in every bite. This recipe is perfect when you want to impress guests, serve something nice with coffee, or simply treat yourself to an extra delicious dessert.
Ingredients
- 150 g butter
- 150 g chocolate
- 3 dl sugar
- 1 dl cocoa powder
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 3 eggs
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 can dulce de leche (397 g)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a saucepan. Chop the chocolate and let it melt into the butter.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and add sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla sugar, salt, and eggs. Stir until everything is a smooth batter.
- Finally, add the all-purpose flour and mix well.
- Pour the batter into a parchment-lined small baking pan (20x20). Spoon the dulce de leche on top and swirl with a knife to create a pattern.
- Bake at 175°C in the middle of the oven for 30-35 minutes.
- Let cool for a few hours before cutting into pieces.
Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting them into pieces, as this will give you the neatest slices and the best texture. Feel free to serve the brownies as they are, or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and fresh berries for an extra luxurious dessert.
