Brownie

A moist brownie is just as perfect for weekend treats as it is for gatherings. With a rich cocoa flavor and a soft, almost fudgy texture, this cake is sure to please both young and old. This recipe is easy to follow and guarantees a great result, perfect when you're craving something truly delicious in a short time.
Ingredients
- 250 g butter
- 400 g sugar
- 50 g cocoa powder
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a medium-sized saucepan.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the sugar and cocoa, stirring to combine. (Let it cool slightly)
- Lightly whisk the eggs together and then stir them into the saucepan.
- Sift in the all-purpose flour, vanilla sugar, baking powder, and salt, and mix this into the batter.
- Pour the batter into a small, parchment-lined baking tray (about 20 × 30 cm). I used a round springform pan with a diameter of 27 cm.
- Bake the cake in the middle of the oven at 175°C for about 20 minutes.
- Cool the cake in the pan, first on the counter and then in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
- Sift powdered sugar over the top before serving.
Let the brownie cool completely before cutting it, so you get nice, even pieces and the perfect texture. A light dusting of powdered sugar on top gives a simple yet elegant finish. Serve it with a scoop of ice cream or a cup of coffee and enjoy every single bite!
